Atafu Atoll in Tokelau
A photo and information about the Atafu Atoll
in the New Zealand Territory of Tokelau.
Atafu is the smallest of the three atolls that make up Tokelau, and also the most traditional island, relying a great deal on traditional dugout canoes. Known for its attractive wooden houses. Formerly known as the Duke of York Island Group. There are no hotels on the Atafu Atoll and only one guest house.
