Caroline Islands Travel Guide

Information for visitors to the Caroline Islands in Micronesia. The Carolina Islands is large archipelago of islands located Northeast of new Guinea in the western Pacific Ocean. When this area was part of the Spanish East Indies it was known as Nuevas Filipinas (Nwe Philippines).

There are about 500 islands in the Caroline Islands. Most of them are flat coral atolls but a few of them rise well above sea level.
