Islands of Wallis and Futuna

Information about the main islands in the French Overseas Territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands.

The Wallis Archipelago

Wallis Island
Island with about 30 miles of coastline that is located about 150 miles northeast of the Horne Islands of Alofi and Futuna.

The Hoorn Islands

Alofi Island
Island that inhabited by fewer then a handful of people that is located about a mile southeast of Futuna Island.

Futuna Island
Island most famous as the place where Catholic Saint Pierre Chanel was martyred and the location of a church where some of his relics are located.
