Australia Antaarctic Territory
An introduction to the Australian Antarctic Territory
(AAT). The AAT is a portion of Antarctica that is claimed
by Australia. The territory is approximately 5 million
kilometers in size and it is inhabited by research station
staff members. It is bounded by the Norway claimed Queen
Maud Land in the west and the New Zealand claimed Ross
Dependency in the east.
