American Samoa Flag Day
One of the biggest events in American Samoa is the American Samoa Flag Day celebration that marks the date American Samoa became a United States territory: April 17, 1900. The event includes an American Samoa Flag Day Parade and Celebration at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Pago Pago.

10th Festival of Pacific Arts
The Festival of Pacific Arts was founded in 1972 and it takes place every four years in a South Pacific destination. American Samoa hosted the 10th annual event July 20 through August 2, 2008.
